Who We Are

Mission Cascadia is the church planting arm of the Diocese of Cascadia, Anglican Church in North America. We are a people who are committed to reaching out across our region with the good news of Jesus Christ and the redemption and reconciliation that he offers to all. We are committed to investing time and resources into planting new, healthy churches across the Pacific Northwest that represent the diversity of the Anglican way of worship. Our mission isn’t about us or what we want to accomplish, our mission is to witness to Jesus and his kingdom across the region by planting healthy, sustainable churches that reflect the image of God and seek to see the kingdom of God come in the Pacific Northwest as it is in heaven.

Our Vision

We imagine Anglican churches being planted across Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. We imagine churches with healthy cultures — churches that reflect the diversity of the global Anglican Church and churches that practice life-giving, sacramental worship. We intend to plant churches that witness to the reality of God’s kingdom as outposts of his redeeming love for the world, that we might see His kingdom come in the Pacific Northwest as it is in heaven, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
